My love for design and interaction began at a young age. At any given moment my mother would have at least 8 computers around the house. She would constantly tinker and build them up from microchips. We were always encouraged to play games, and we bonded together through the years playing together. Inspired, I knew that I had to pursue a career in digital design and went to James Madison University to get my B.F.A in graphic design.
After graduating I began working at creative agencies in the DC metro area. These were fundamental years working on a variety of clients and growing my skillset. To improve my collaboration with engineers x clients I went to trade school for User Research & Front-End web development.
Hungry for adventure, I decided to explore roles in new cities. I interviewed with Tinder and the rest was history. I moved across the country by myself to take the job and was one of the most rewarding experiences in my professional life. One of my favorite projects at Tinder was Swipe Night, an interactive adventure that led to matches. This project eventually led me to my role at Quibi, where I was excited of the potential of creating interactive shows at scale.
I find myself under the constant feeling of wanderlust and am always excited about the next adventure. I took up surfing since i've moved to SoCal and if you don't see me in the water you can find me on horseback on the trails. Growing up my parents owned a pet store and I was surrounded by animals so naturally, I am a proud parrot & dog-mom.
